The awesome interview that is Coco Crisp

In one of the more entertaining interviews you'll ever see, Thrillist San Francisco sat down with Coco Crisp. The colorfully named center fielder for the A's did not disappoint, weighing in on a range of topics from Major League to cereal.

Among the highlights, and there are many:

- Crisp believes Weaver has the nastiest stuff for a right-handed pitcher he's seen (Cliff Lee was tops overall). When pressed as to whether he meant Jeff or Jered (surely the latter, right?), Crisp simply reiterated, "Weaver."

- His three favorite characters in Major League are "Willie Mays Say Hayes," "Jaboot" and "Wild Thing."

- Crisp belives he's the fastest player in the majors and faster than most people in the world, except for the track star, you know, "the lightning bolt."

On the baseball front, Crisp has the A's finishing with a better record than their Bay area brethren, the defending world champion Giants. That one isn't so bad, because there's nothing wrong with confident in your team. It might have been a stretch when he said Trevor Cahill would win more games than Tim Lincecum, though. Especially when you say, "Take nothing away from Lincecum, but Cahill, he's the man."

These highlights don't do the whole interview justice. It's truly a beauty.

Funnily enough, though not too shocking, was Crisp saying the "weirdest teammate" he ever had was Manny Ramirez. I wonder if Manny would likewise answer Coco to the same question? They seem like a match made in heaven. Oh to be a fly on the wall for some of those conversations in those old Red Sox clubhouses.

There is only one Weaver; you all have been duped. This is what Coco is telling us. If you will but listen to Coco you will learn much, but not everyone is prepared to hear what Coco has to say.
