Report: Jays narrow list to three

Posted on: October 20, 2010 1:46 pm
After interviewing half of Ontario, the Blue Jays appear to be narrowing their list of managerial candidates, as we're getting scattered reports of candidates being told they're out of the mix. Sean McAdam of is told by a source that Toronto is down to three: Red Sox bench coach DeMarlo Hale, Red Sox pitching coach John Farrell, and Indians first-base coach Sandy Alomar Jr.

None of the three has major-league managing experience, and only Hale has any managing experience at any level. He managed nine years in the minors in the Boston and Texas systems, including two years at Triple-A for the Rangers.
